“Aid for energy-intensive sectors due to prices of natural gas and electricity in 2023.”

Zakład Włókienniczy Biliński Sp. J. informs that it has received aid under the government program “Aid for energy-intensive sectors due to prices of natural gas and electricity in 2023.”

The amount of aid granted was PLN 1 144 583,00.

The program was developed on the basis of the Act of September 29, 2022 on the principles of implementing support programs for entrepreneurs in according to the situation on the energy market in 2022-2024.

It is based on the “Temporary crisis and transitional framework for state aid measures to support the economy after Russia’s aggression against Ukraine” published by the European Commission in March 2023.

The program operator is the National Fund for Environmental Protection and Water Management.

1st place in the Łódź Voivodeship for Zakład Włókienniczy Biliński in the Ranking of Family Companies by Forbes magazine

We are pleased to announce that our company was distincted in this year’s ranking of the Forbes Family Business Forum, taking first place in the category of family businesses with revenues below PLN 100 million in the Łódź Voivodeship.

The editors of Forbes Magazine, in cooperation with Dun & Bradstreet Poland, have prepared a list of the most valuable family businesses in Poland. The list includes dynamically developing enterprises which also actively support the development of local communities.

On November 21, during the festive gala at DoubleTree by Hilton in Łódź, Lucyna Bilińska, Head of the R&D Department in our company, received the distinction.

Zakład Włókienniczy Biliński among the sponsors of scholarships under the “Youth in Łódź” program

The “Youth in Łódź” scholarship program aims to encourage young people to connect their future with Łódź, support the career development of students and support local companies in recruiting qualified staff.

Technological development, ecological activities, changing consumer needs, new functional properties of materials – these and many other issues await for future specialists who want to develop in topics related to the textile industry.

Therefore, taking into account future challenges, as one of the largest textile companies in the region, we decided to support students who plan to develop professionally in our industry.

As part of the program, the most outstanding person studying in such fields as: textiles, electrical engineering, textiles and fashion industry, environmental protection engineering, chemical and biochemical engineering, can compete for a scholarship funded by our company.

The application period lasts until October 27, 2023.

“Support for energy-intensive sectors related to sudden increases in natural gas and electricity prices in 2022.”

Zakład Włókienniczy Biliński Sp. J with its registered office in Konstantynowo Łódzki informs that it has received co-financing under the government program “Aid for energy-intensive sectors related to sudden increases in prices of natural gas and electricity in 2022”.

The granted assistance amount is PLN 1 105 839.

The program was developed on the basis of the Act of 29 September 2022 on the rules for the implementation of business support programs in connection with the situation on the energy market in 2022-2024. It is based on the updated “Temporary Crisis Framework for State Aid measures to support the economy following the aggression against Ukraine by Russia” published by the European Commission. The program is operated by the National Fund for Environmental Protection and Water Management.

The amount of funding will significantly contribute to the costs of expanding the renewable energy system, involving an increase in the installed capacity of photovoltaic panels to nearly 1000 kWh. The undertaken actions aim to diversify energy sources due to their rising costs, which impact the financial security and competitiveness of the enterprise in the market. The expansion of the system will also lead to a reduction in the amount of CO2 emissions per kilogram of textile product produced.
