We make every effort to minimise our impact on the environment, which is why we undertake actions in line with the circular economy concept, based on creating closed-loop processes and reusing resources. We believe that responsible resource management and the promotion of pro-environmental activities can have a real impact on the state of our planet.
All chemicals used by us come from reputable global manufacturers and comply with REACH requirements. It is a European Union regulation adopted to protect the environment. It applies to all chemicals used, among others, in industrial processes.
We utilise a modern automatic system for measuring chemical substances, controlled by central production management software. This enables precise dosing of the exact amount of substance required for processes such as dyeing, preventing resource waste.
Our pro-ecological actions are based on legal foundations, including the IPPC Directive (Integrated Pollution Prevention and Control). This is one of the most important legal acts of the European Union related to integrated pollution prevention and control. The BAT Conclusions (best available techniques) within this directive specify the best available solutions for specific types of economic activities, reducing the negative impact of industries on the natural environment.
Water is one of the most crucial resources that influences the shape, functioning, and development of the textile industry. Therefore, its reuse in production processes brings economic and, above all, environmental benefits. Among the most important are: – lower load on the sewage network – lower load on the group sewage treatment plant (GOŚ) – positive impact on the quality of treated sewage emitted to the environment by GOŚ – minimization of the impact on groundwater levels through reduced consumption.
3 l/1 kg of batch –– this is the amount by which we reduced water consumption through dyeing using machines that operate at low “liquor ratios.” For comparison, in the past, the textile industry used up to 50 litres of water per 1 kilogram of textiles.
50% of water in our company is reused in production processes, thanks to a unique wastewater management system based on managing wastewater streams.
The brine treatment and recycling system we use is the world’s first patented solution of its kind, implemented in collaboration with PFTechnology (Poland) and Tech-Electronica (Italy).
The quality, safety, and reliability of our company in the textile supply and production chain are ensured through certified partnerships with programs such as:
We are stakeholders in international programs such as ENTeR and Aquares, supported by Interreg Central Union (a program of the EU cohesion policy that brings together partners from Austria, Croatia, the Czech Republic, Germany, Hungary, Italy, Poland, Slovakia, and Slovenia).
ENTeR – The project aims to enhance cooperation among textile companies in Central Europe in waste management and promote innovative service offerings through major local research centres and business associations. This initiative also focuses on engaging public entities in ecological design, waste management, and optimization throughout the product lifecycle.
AQUARES – The project brings together 10 partners from 9 countries to develop strategies for efficient water management, reuse, and securing water reservoirs across Europe. Aquares also supports public institutions in initiating initiatives, exchanging experiences, and promoting social dialogue related to water management issues.
